This is my first picture on the bike five days after I came out of the hospital, one important step for my confidence. It was almost 40°C, the reason for the bikini. No I didn´t ride it, I just sat on the bike for a few minutes and pretended that I ride. My mom was helping me in that moment, she helped my get on the bike and push the bike of the sidestand because I was simply to weak to do it on my own as my left side was only usable for very simple tasks.
The second picture shows me and my best friend Billy on my first actual ride in the Provence near Avignon where lived at the time and used the beaufiful weather to recover from my Brainstroke.
The Video shows one of my first rides, 8 weeks after my brainstroke, it was only a few kilometers but they where so important for me. After my brainstroke I thought I would never be able to ride again, but riding bikes is in my blood. So I had to get back on the road. Follow me on my youtube channel too and join me on my journey.
